The signal from the resistance temperature detector orthermocouple is received by the Head Mounted Temperature Transmitter, which transforms the observed temperature signal into a2 wire loop powered 4 to 20 mA equivalent signal. Because the head mounttransmitter is placed in the connecting head of the sensor, the transmittersize is quite small. In addition, as the Head MountedTemperature Transmitter is housed in the head part of the sensor, there is verylittle wiring & for programming no wiring required.
